The Heart Behind Haru & Mizu

It all started with Mizu, an English Cream Golden Retriever full of love who helped me heal after losing my sweet 19-year-old "baby" named Bobby, a Chihuahua mix who was my first puppy and whom I raised since he was a month and a half old baby.

Two years later, I decided to bring Haru from my country, Peru—a one-year-old Labrador Retriever who, from the moment we saw each other, became my shadow and faithful companion.

Later, a little dog who was walking around my block joined us; she had escaped from a neighbor, but when I tried to return her, they no longer wanted her. She was used for breeding and giving birth to puppies to be sold later, something that was very painful for me. But in good time, fate allowed me to find her: she is Princessa, a Morckie (Yorkie and Maltese mix), a rescue that I am very happy about because she is now happy with me and no one else will ever use her for anything again.

I believe that fate and God brought me to be able to rescue that tiny and innocent baby; after some time, the love I have for animals allowed me to rescue a family of Boston Terriers:

The dad (Rocco), the mom (Bella), and their beloved babies who were barely a week old; one of them has his own story, and together they changed my life. Rocco the Dad now lives with a family that adores him, just like Mickey and Oreo, who also found homes full of love.

"And here are the ones who stayed to fill my home with joy: the brave mom Bella and her son Taro."

Today, my home is full of life with my five treasures: Mizu, Haru, Princesa, Bella, and Taro. They are the soul of Haru & Mizu and the reason why I always look for the best in nutrition and care.

I care for them and feed them with dedication, and they accompany me every step of the way; that is how this store was born, to offer products that protect and celebrate the unconditional love that pets give us.

Additionally, I collaborate with a shelter in Peru called "La Casita de Yummy," which cares for more than 250 rescued dogs and cats.

And I am also the sponsor of a little dog, a distemper survivor named Manchitas, who receives care in Peru; all this work I do reflects the immense love I have for them, and I want to honor and share it with all of you.
